Jacob Andrews, representing Ready Set Go Sprinters and Sehome High, along with Grant Buckmiller of Lake Stevens High and GLS Speed Track Club, both from Washington, took the top two spots in the men's 17-18 400-meter final in 46.71 and 47.65, respectively, at the USATF National Junior Olympic Track and Field Championships at Hornet Stadium at Sacramento State. Andrews also took third in the 200-meter final in 21.69 and contributed to a runner-up finish in the 4x100-meter relay in 41.03.
